Katie Jordan

Hi! My name is Katie (or Kiki, Kj, or formally, Katherine). I am from Mount Prospect, IL,
which is a northwest suburb of Chicago! I started theatre at the ripe age of 4, right after my mom would
always catch me singing, “Standing Still” by Jewel (her favorite artist.) She put
me into voice, acting, and dance lessons and I will never be able to thank her enough for
that. Because of her, I am doing the one thing that truly brings me joy like nothing else in this life can. When asked why I joined theatre- the answer is because of my mom. When asked why I continued with it- it’s because of this overwhelming feeling of love and belonging. I also love feeding into and out of other people’s energies. Playing with space, time and story really is the coolest thing to me. I continued in the arts continuously through the years, with instruction from Metropolis School of Art, Merit School of Music, Prospect High School, and currently a B.F.A in Musical Theater from Ball State! I am so excited for the future and am a girl that LOVES fun, sassiness, spontaneity and FIERCENESS. Having a good time (to me) means having fun, working hard, being dedicated, passionate and -above everything else- being kind.
